Dawid is the head of Quantee by Guidewire, a SaaS solution for dynamic, end-to-end insurance pricing. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK and has previously held actuarial roles at multiple insurance companies.

Mikolaj has 8 years of actuarial experience, having worked with teams across the UK, Ireland, Poland, and Germany. Since joining Quantee in 2022, he has been responsible for managing and delivering client projects in the UK and internationally.

Isabelle is an Actuarial Data Scientist at LCP and an analytics specialist. Her time has been spent within a variety of companies across the insurance spectrum, including traditional insurers and Insurtechs. Bringing data science techniques into mainstream actuarial has been one of her main goals in her career to date. Recently, her focus has been on solving a diverse range of problems across the pricing and reserving space, including contributing to the development of LCP’s award-winning insurance software, InsurSight.

James Daley has been a consumer campaigner and financial journalist for over 25 years. Before launching Fairer Finance in 2014, he worked for the consumer group, Which?, where he campaigned for a better deal for customers of banks and insurers in the wake of the financial crisis.
James is frequently interviewed on national television and radio, and has regularly appeared on shows such as Watchdog, Rip-off Britain, Dispatches and Moneybox.
Before working at Which?, James spent 10 years as a business and finance newspaper journalist, latterly as the The Independent's personal finance editor and cycling columnist.
He is a member of both UK Finance's and the Association of British Insurers' Consumer Advisory Groups.

Pauline Barthelemy joined Laka, an innovative insurtech company, in June 2024 to lead all pricing activities for micro-mobility across the UK and EU. A French–British actuary with 15 years of experience in the London insurance and reinsurance market, Pauline brings both technical depth and entrepreneurial spirit to her work.
She is a passionate supporter of startups and early-stage companies, with a strong belief in community-led growth. Pauline is also the founder of a growing network for women driving impact in the startup space, championing collaboration, visibility, and support across the ecosystem.

Alan is currently Head of Underwriting & Analytics at Sophro MGA Limited, a role he has held for six years. Prior to this he helped set up a specialist Gibraltar-based insurance company, of which he was Underwriting Director and then CIO. He has 30 years of insurance experience working with data spanning multiple lines of business. Alan combines extensive insurance underwriting and pricing experience with data analysis skills to cut through the background noise and provide technical leaders with the insights they need to succeed. He is always looking for innovative ideas to streamline or improve performance, finding ways to apply new technology in a relatively small and niche business.

Michalis Antoniou is Managing Director of Product at Hellas Direct, a technology‑driven insurer operating in Greece, Cyprus, Romania and the Czech Republic with a mission to redefine insurance in underserved European markets. Joining the founding team at inception thirteen years ago, he built the product and data organisation that anchors Hellas Direct’s ecosystem strategy and helped scale the business from zero to €250 million in gross written premium, growth recognised by the Financial Times “FT 1000: Europe’s Fastest‑Growing Companies.” The team’s current priority is a vehicle‑ownership “Super App” that will unite insurance, finance, repair and wider mobility services on a single platform. In a previous life, Michalis priced and traded complex credit derivatives at J.P. Morgan in London and New York and developed low‑frequency algorithmic trading systems. He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and an MPhil in Financial Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
